Airport hotels often emphasize practicality, but a few hotels near Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport feature rooms in which guests can use in-room hot tubs to pamper themselves or enjoy a romantic rendezvous with their partners. You won't find in-room hot tubs as a standard feature at the airport hotels. You can, however, book specialty rooms within a few large upscale hotels that are a few miles away from the airport.

Hotels

The Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Mall of America includes two Whirlpool Suites among its approximately 300 rooms and suites. The suites' whirlpools are large enough to accommodate four people. Radisson's Hotel Bloomington by Mall of America property also features two suites with in-room Jacuzzi tubs. Both the grand suite and the two-bathroom family suite have Jacuzzi tubs separate from their stand-up showers. The 429-room Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites, Minneapolis Airport, contains five suites with in-room Jacuzzi tubs. Note that Crowne Plaza also operates a second property a few miles away called Crowne Plaza Hotel Minneapolis-West, which does not feature Jacuzzi suites, so take care when booking.

Other Amenities

All three Jacuzzi-equipped hotels offer room service, so you'll be able to order a romantic meal or dessert to complement your soak should you wish. The Radisson also has the Trillium Spa on site for massages, facials and manicures/pedicures, and hotel guests get preference when booking times. Hilton's suites come equipped with Crabtree & Evelyn La Source bathroom amenities if you prefer your pampering in the room. Both the Hilton and Crowne Plaza have indoor swimming pools, and the Crowne Plaza also has a sauna for guests. If you want a wilder aquatic experience, the Radisson is connected to the Water Park of America, though you'll have to pay entrance fees for it.

Airport Access

Should quick airport access be a key concern during your visit, the Crowne Plaza is the closest, just a mile away from the airport. The Hilton is about 3 miles away from the airport. The Radisson is just less than 5 miles away. All three hotels offer complimentary shuttle service to the airport, and they also have free shuttles to the Mall of America if you need an entertainment break. Additionally, the Crowne Plaza has access to the city's light rail service, which connects downtown Minneapolis and the airport.
